Under The Rain

under-the-rain

Everything is the same

Under the rain

Except the pain

Tears melt in water

The heart beats faster

There is nothing

To gain

Nothing to lose

Shine or rain

We’re on a train

Heading south

Don’t open

Your mouth

The train moves fast

Look out the window

Watch the faces

See the fields

Passing you by

Are they real?

Can you feel?

Any emotion?

You’re on motion

The train

Won’t come

Again

Being on-board

Is not an option

Sit down

Close your eyes

See the fields

In your brain

Under the rain

Nothing is the same!

The grass is greener

The clouds are darker

The gravel is smoother

The wind is harsher

The river is grayer

Walk alone

Get wet

From head to toe

Feel cold

Hit the road

Don’t run

There is no sun

It’s not fun

To walk alone

Under the rain…

A nice poem-I like it. My computer crashed on Friday before our big event. My daughter bought me a new one but it is not set up yet so am using webmail.
