The Call

Deep underneath

The layers of being

A faint sound

Goes round and round

Tries to say

Something about

The pain within

It can’t shout

It can’t scream

It calls again

Under the rain

The words of pain

The struggle, the strain

No one understands

No one stands

The Call

After all

It dives back

Deep inside

It finds a hide

It talks no more

The Call of silence

Speaks without

A sound

Tells the story

Which no one cares

To hear

Right now

Right here

Then it disappears

Deeper and lower

Waiting for the time

When the words rhyme

When the sun shines

It’s the Call of a life

Full of strife

Goes round and round

But stays behind

The gray walls

Of the fake world

Inside the mind

That doesn’t stop

To listen

That doesn’t drop

The faces

The Call is alive

It shall survive

Till the time comes

Till the sun shines

Once more!

    • Dear Abdurrahman, you don’t have to say anything. “The Call of Silence speaks without a sound”, just like you! However, the poem, as a whole, doesn’t talk about you.

People around you must pay attention to what you say silently, more than what you say loudly…

      Love you…
