Only If I Knew

If I knew

If I had a clue

When the time’s due

I’d renew

My fading hope

I’d hold on

To Allah’s rope

I’d move on

Against the slope

Only if I knew…

I see their pictures

In my mind

Which makes me

So sad

And mad

I want to touch

Their faces

I want to hug them

To my chest

So tight

With all my might

And I would not

Let go

This time

I would let them know

How much

I love them

That; I sure know…

Have I gone insane?

I stand under the rain

So that my tears

Would melt in the rain

I close my eyes and dream

Hoping I’d see them again…

I can wait

No more

It’s too late

To go for

A quiet state

like before…

If I knew

If I had a clue

I’d wait

I’d hope

Once more…
