The Mystic Road

The road winds downhill like a snake

A rocky, red mountain to the left

To the right, a pristine, blue lake

The road is narrow, no overtake

The sun turns the lake into a stage

For rays to dance, in a show of magic

No one knows where the road begins

Where the road ends, for that sake

It’s a mythical road, known only by a few

It’s a dangerous road, but nobody has a clue

Where it starts

Where it ends

Or where it takes

Driving along that road takes courage

Wisdom, and some luck

It’s an adventure for those who love high stakes

But no one knows what’s at stake

And the story goes

The road has swallowed a number of the few

Who had dared to drive through

This passage of mystery, playing give and take

Some say the lake is fake

Only a reflection of something in the sky

Something horrible that could shake

The mountains, the road, anyone or anything

Like the wind shakes a flake

And the story goes

Would you like to take that road?

Are you up to the challenge of a lifetime?

Do you have what it takes?

To be an explorer, and adventurer

The road could end in a dead-end

Could throw unexpected curves

Or, could open to a Paradise

Who knows…

Yet, the story goes…
